About the apartment

General
I chose this house not for its pretty eyes, but because it's Gumbati. In Batumi, that means the walls aren't made of cardboard, and the façade won't peel in a year. The apartment is dry. That's the main thing. There's a gas boiler, and the radiators keep the heat up. In the winter, I pay pennies for gas compared to those who rely on air conditioners in glass windows. But the layout... I have a "European-style two-bedroom," where the bedroom has no window (a blind room). That's how they like to build here. It seems cheaper, but there's not enough air. I had to fix the ventilation myself.
Neighbors
The usual mix. On the right, a family with children (screaming), on the left, someone renting out a place by the day (walking back and forth). The sound quality is average; I can hear a neighbor sneezing, but their conversation is incomprehensible.
Noise
If your windows face Bagrationi Street, you'll hang yourself. There are Schumachers racing around there 24/7, without mufflers, and ambulance sirens wailing. I sleep with earplugs. If your windows face the courtyard, it's quieter, but the view is dreary.
View
I have a view of the stadium and the mountains. It's okay. But right outside the windows is a perpetual traffic jam at the roundabout. It's not very romantic, but at least it lets you see whether it's worth driving.

About the building

General
The building looks respectable, green. But there are things that irritate me. The main one is the PAID ELEVATORS. Yes, in a "comfort-class" building, you have to swipe a chip or coin to ride. That's so stingy. If you forget your chip, you have to walk. The second issue is the hallways. They're long, dark, and the light sensor only works occasionally. And the neighbors like to leave bags of trash outside their doors "until morning." The smell is also there.
Cleanliness
The cleaning lady comes, waving a rag for show. The corners are covered in age-old dust.
Yard
It's huge by local standards. BUT! It's just a huge asphalt parking lot. There are only a few greenery bushes. The playground is pathetic. It's unpleasant to walk there, only to park a car.
Demographics
Lots of locals, lots of Russians, Ukrainians, Belarusians. Working class and middle class.
Utilities Stability
Water, electricity, gas—everything's fine. There's a generator for the elevator, but you'll probably have to pay for that too.

About the district

Transport Accessibility
You can go anywhere from here. All minibuses pass through the circle.
Noise
It's very noisy. The windows can't be opened.
Fitness
There are gyms right in the building or in the neighboring ones (Fit Club).
