Listen, the view from here is just mind-blowing, you wake up and see the sea and it covers almost all the downsides. The apartment is huge and bright so finally the kids aren't sitting on each other's heads. But there is a huge minus and that is the wind because when it blows from the sea the windows howl so loud it feels like we are taking off, honestly scary sometimes. The layout is cool with the kitchen connected to the living room so it is super convenient to watch the little ones.

here is security 24/7 sitting in the lobby and actually watching who comes in so you feel completely safe

Mostly wealthy families and retirees so no one parties until morning, very quiet and decent

No issues with neighbors but the wind noise and the hum from the highway below sometimes really stress you out especially in winter

This is the best thing about the apartment as the panorama of the whole city and beach is just unreal

The building feels like a five-star hotel, you walk into the hall and it smells like expensive perfume immediately. The pools on the territory save us in summer when the beach is crowded with tourists, we hang out there constantly. Elevators are high-speed so your ears pop but you have to wait for them a long time especially in the morning when everyone takes kids to school. Gym is a bit small for such a huge complex so in the evening it is packed.

They clean constantly so floors shine and glass at the entrance is always clean

The territory is closed and strangers won't just walk in so you can calmly let kids out into the yard

Huge closed territory with a playground and tennis court which for Barcelona is a rarity

Spots are wide and parking is comfortable but the price for a spot is just space

Facade looks cool but inside drywall partitions mean you can hear someone walking on heels in the corridor

The Diagonal Mar area is not Barcelona at all as there are no old streets or history here, just glass buildings and a shopping mall. But the mall is right across the road and it has absolutely everything from groceries to clothes. It is far to the center, about 20-30 minutes by metro, so you can't just walk there. But the beach is across the road which is a thrill in summer but in winter the wind is so strong it knocks you off your feet.

The area is calm but in the evening near the park some strange characters hang around sometimes

Boring as the eye has nothing to catch except skyscrapers and the sea so no Spanish vibe

Metro is nearby and tram too but it still takes a long time to get to the center

Almost no traffic jams here as streets are wide so you can get to the ring road in a couple of minutes

You can always find a spot on the street if you don't want to pay for underground parking
