About the apartment

General
The studio is very bright, and the floor-to-ceiling windows are simply love at first sight. However, in the summer, the apartment turns into a veritable greenhouse, and without a powerful air conditioner, you'd be boiling alive by lunchtime. Gas heating is a huge plus in the humid Batumi winter, as electricity costs three times as much. The layout is convenient for one person, but I'd like a larger kitchen, as there's almost no countertop space for cooking.
View
The view of the stadium and the mountains is simply stunning, especially in the evening when the lights are on. You can sit on the balcony with a glass of wine and gaze at the city for hours.
Security
There are cameras in the entrance and the door can only be opened with a chip, so strangers rarely wander here.
Neighbors
Many apartments are rented out to tourists by the day, so the faces in the elevator change every week. The sound level is average, but if the neighbors decide to throw a party, you're inevitably involved.
Noise
The noise from Abuseridze Street is simply unbearable, as it's a main road and traffic there is constant, even at night. Ambulance and police sirens are constantly audible even through closed windows.
Renovation
The renovation was customized and the materials are high-quality, so nothing is falling apart and there's no mold. The laminate is laid flat and the bathroom has good waterproofing, which is rare for Batumi.
Furniture
The bed with its orthopedic mattress is a blessing, but the sofa in the living room is purely decorative and uncomfortable to sit on. The wardrobe is huge, and all my things, even suitcases, fit in there.
Appliances
There's a dishwasher, which is rare for rental apartments here, and it makes life much easier. The air conditioner sometimes drips into the room if it's running all day, but the technician said it's normal.
Internet
The Silknet provider is stable and has sufficient speed for streaming and making calls with clients. Over the past six months, the internet has only been down for ten minutes a couple of times.

About the building

General
The biggest perk of this building is that there's a shopping center right downstairs, so you can literally go down to the grocery store in your slippers. The building is modern and looks stylish against the backdrop of the Soviet-era prefabricated buildings around it. But the elevators are a classic Batumi experience, with five-minute waits during rush hour.
Cleanliness
The cleaning lady mops the hallways regularly, and overall the building looks neat. There's sometimes trash near the trash cans at the entrance, but it's quickly removed.
Security
There's no security as such, just a receptionist in the lobby who doesn't really monitor entry. But thanks to the cameras, you feel safer than in the old building.
Yard
There's practically no yard at all, as the building is right next to the road and a shopping center parking lot. There's no room to walk your dog or child, so you have to walk to the park or the embankment.
Parking
Finding a parking spot near your building is a real quest, and sometimes you have to drive around the neighborhood for half an hour. Underground parking is exorbitantly expensive, so everyone fights for a spot on the street.
Building Quality
The house is warm and wind-resistant, unlike the towers on the seafront. The walls are smooth and the façade is well-made, with no debris falling on your head.

About the district

General
The location is simply top-notch because you're right in the center of all the action and infrastructure. Nearby is a huge Carrefour hypermarket where you can buy everything from groceries to electronics, and a ton of small shops. The sea is a leisurely fifteen-minute walk through the beautiful Alley of Heroes.
Cleanliness
The street is very dusty due to constant traffic and construction nearby. The sidewalks are often muddy, and after rain, huge puddles form that are difficult to avoid.
Security
The area is very lively and well-lit, so even at night it's not scary to walk around. Police patrol the streets constantly, as there's a stadium nearby.
Beauty
The Alley of Heroes is very beautiful with palm trees and fountains, especially in the evening. But if you turn into the courtyards, you'll find typical Batumi chaos and devastation.
Transport Accessibility
Bus stops are right outside the building, allowing you to travel to any point in the city without transfers. Taxis arrive instantly at any time of day and cost pennies.
Parking
This is the area's biggest problem, as there are tons of cars and literally no spaces. Tow trucks work very quickly, so abandoning a car just anywhere is dangerous.
Stray Animals
There are a lot of dogs, and they like to sleep right outside shopping centers and pharmacies. They're all microchipped and friendly, but their numbers can be overwhelming.
