This isn't the newest building in Expo (it’s maybe 15 years old?), so the finishes aren't 'ultra-luxury', but the space is huge. We have a T3 (3 bedrooms) and it’s properly sized for a family. Heating: Central heating with radiators (gas). It gets toasty warm in winter, which is rare in Lisbon. Balconies: Big, but windy. We are set back from the river, so the view is mostly of other buildings
Neighbors
Lots of international families. Kids play together in the yard.
Noise
Good walls. Quiet neighbors (mostly families)
Renovation
A bit dated. Wooden floors are scratched, bathrooms are from the 2000s. Functional but not trendy.
About the building
General
The reason we live here is the Amenities. The outdoor pool is massive. In summer, it’s like a holiday resort. There is a shallow end for toddlers. There is also a playground inside the complex. You can let the kids run down without worrying about cars. It’s very safe and enclosed
Cleanliness
Gardeners are here every day.
Yard
Best private garden in Expo. Palm trees, grass.
About the district
General
The Cabo Ruivo metro station is LITERALLY outside the gate. This is a game changer. You can be in the city center in 20 mins. Shopping: There is a Pingo Doce supermarket right across the street. Cons: It’s the 'less sexy' part of Expo. It’s residential and quiet. Not many cool bars nearby. You have to walk 15 mins to the riverfront for the action.
