About the apartment

General
I pay a premium for silence and this is the only place in downtown Belgrade where I can actually get it without moving to the suburbs. The sound insulation is top tier so I never hear the traffic from Starine Novaka street even though it is absolute chaos outside. The finishings are classy with oak floors that feel solid underfoot but the bathroom ventilation is a bit weak so steam lingers for ages after a hot shower.
Security
Security is extremely strict here with guards at every entrance who actually stop strangers so privacy is guaranteed
Neighbors
Most residents are diplomats or business owners so everyone is polite and keeps to themselves which suits me perfectly
Noise
Inside the apartment it is library quiet thanks to triple glazed windows and thick concrete walls between units
Renovation
The quality of construction is excellent and after two years I have not seen a single crack in the walls or issues with the parquet
Furniture
The apartment came unfurnished which allowed me to set up my home office exactly how I wanted it with ergonomic gear

About the building

General
The private park inside is the absolute highlight and having a secure green space just for residents feels like a massive luxury in this concrete city. The maintenance fee is steep compared to other buildings but seeing how manicured the lawns are makes it worth it. Access to the building is strictly controlled and even the retail shops on the ground floor have separate entrances so shoppers do not mix with residents.
Cleanliness
The complex is spotless and I see cleaners polishing the glass doors and sweeping the park walkways constantly
Security
With 24/7 physical security and CCTV covering every inch of the perimeter this is a fortress
Yard
The private garden is a sanctuary where you can sit on a bench and read a book without hearing the city noise
Building Quality
Everything feels heavy and expensive from the facade materials to the silent elevators

About the district

General
Location wise you are golden because you can walk to Republic Square in fifteen minutes or hit the Botanic Garden just down the road. It is the perfect mix of old Belgrade charm with modern convenience as you have artisan bakeries and traditional kafanas on every corner. Traffic during rush hour is gridlocked though so driving out of the garage can take twenty minutes just to move two blocks.
Cleanliness
Palilula streets are generally clean but the recycling bins on the corners often overflow before they are collected
Security
It is a very safe and busy area with lots of foot traffic so walking home late at night is never a problem
Beauty
The mix of new architecture and old crumbling facades gives the neighborhood a lot of character
Transport Accessibility
You are in the center so every major bus and trolleybus line is within a five minute walk
Traffic Jams
Starine Novaka and Cvijiceva streets are constantly jammed so relying on a car for daily commuting is painful
Parking
On street parking is zoned and limited to two hours so visitors basically have no place to park legally
