I bought an apartment here for its location. For business activities in Almaty, there's no better place to find one—everything is close by. The apartment has high ceilings, an open layout, and floor-to-ceiling windows. It's prestigious and convenient, but very noisy.
Security
Everything here is top-notch: biometric locks, good doors, security at the entrance. I have peace of mind about the safety of my family and property. Deliveries are left right at the door, in the cell hallways.
Neighbors
Mostly business people, expats, and business owners. Everyone is busy, so no one bothers them unnecessarily. The only downside is that many apartments are sublet, which means there's a constant rotation of strangers in the entryway.
Noise
This is the complex's main problem. The Seifullina and Al-Farabi stations buzz 24/7. Even with the windows closed, the low-frequency hum of the machines can be heard. If you open a window for ventilation, it's impossible to talk in the apartment.
About the building
General
The house looks very expensive and modern. The architecture is New York-style, with beautiful hallways. But maintaining such a house is quite expensive, and the utility bills are hefty.
Cleanliness
The hallways and floors are always spotlessly clean. The staff works discreetly but efficiently. There are no foreign odors or debris.
Security
The area is gated, with video surveillance throughout. Access control is tight, and there are no random passersby inside the courtyard.
Yard
The courtyard is beautifully landscaped: fountains, recreation areas, and good playgrounds. However, it feels a bit cramped for the number of residents—it gets too crowded in warm weather.
Parking
There's underground parking, but the spaces are too tight for large SUVs. On-street parking is impossible—it's either occupied or there's a tow truck in progress. There's nowhere for guests to park their cars.
Building Quality
It's built to a high standard. It's monolithic, with good façade finishing. It's warm in the winter, and the walls don't get as hot in the summer as in cheaper panel buildings.
About the district
General
For me, this is the best area of Almaty. It's the center of business life, yet everything is within walking distance.
Noise
The roads are very noisy. The hum of cars is a constant background noise here.
Parks
There are no parks nearby. You can reach the Terrain Course in 5-7 minutes by car, but there's not much walking available, only along the sidewalks.
Beauty
The area is surrounded by modern buildings, business centers, and hotels. Architecturally, this is the most progressive part of the city.
Transport Accessibility
Transportation is ideal. You can quickly get to any part of the city. A taxi arrives in two minutes.
Traffic Jams
Seifullina-Al-Farabi is one continuous traffic jam. Leaving the parking lot during rush hour can take 15 minutes just to merge into the flow of traffic.
Restaurants
Within a 500-meter radius, there are dozens of the city's best restaurants to suit every taste. This is a huge plus for those who don't like to cook at home.
Hospitals
The city's best private clinics are nearby. Medical care here is top-notch.
Schools
There are several elite private schools in the area. But they are all overcrowded, requiring advance registration.
Pet Friendly
There are few places for dogs to walk. They are forced to walk along the roads, which is not very healthy for either owner or dog.
