We bought an apartment here right after the building was completed and haven't regretted it for a second because the location is simply top-notch for the Left Bank. The layout is convenient, the rooms are bright, and after three years of living here, nothing has fallen off or cracked.
Security
The entrance doors are secure, and I haven't had to change the locks since the developer installed them. The floors are always quiet, and I rarely see strangers in my wing.
Neighbors
The residents are generally reasonable, mostly office workers or young families. The only downside is the endless renovations the neighbors are going through, which have been going on for two years now.
Noise
Noise from neighbors is average, but the noise from Mangilik El Avenue is a different matter. If your windows face the road, don't expect silence even at night due to the constant traffic.
Renovation
We rented the apartment with the builder's finishing touches, and the quality was surprisingly good. The laminate flooring doesn't creak, the bathroom tiles are level, and the electrical outlets are in the right places.
View
Our windows overlook the Expo and the Botanical Garden, so the sunsets here are simply unreal. In the evening, when everything is lit up, the view from the window replaces any TV.
About the building
General
The building has a modern look, and the high-quality façade withstands our winds well. The entrances are clean, and the elevators are modern and operate smoothly, a rarity in Astana.
Cleanliness
The maintenance staff mops the floors daily and wipes down all handles and mirrors. The hallways are always pleasant to walk in, and there's no musty smell.
Security
The yard is completely fenced, and security guards are on duty at the checkpoint. No outside vehicles are allowed inside, so children can run freely around the grounds.
Yard
The playground is good, but sometimes feels a bit cramped due to the large number of children in the building. There are workout areas and benches for relaxing.
Parking
It's a real headache because there are absolutely no spaces in the courtyard. In the evening, parking near the house is impossible, and you have to leave your car two blocks away.
About the district
General
This is the heart of the Left Bank, and life here is 24/7. Everything you need for comfort is within a one-kilometer radius of the entrance.
Security
This is a government district, so patrols are constantly on the move and there are cameras everywhere. You can walk around late at night and feel completely safe.
Beauty
The surrounding area is full of modern buildings, beautiful architecture, and lots of lights. Living in such surroundings is very pleasing to the eye.
Transport Accessibility
Buses go anywhere in the city, and the stop is right nearby. The airport or train station are just fifteen minutes away.
Traffic Jams
Mangilik El is one continuous traffic jam during rush hour. Getting out of the area in the morning requires nerves of steel and plenty of time.
Parks
The Botanical Garden is across the street and is the best place in the city for a stroll. In the summer, it's a paradise for jogging and relaxing.
Restaurants
There are plenty of establishments within walking distance to suit every taste, from fast food to fine dining. There's always somewhere to go for dinner.
Coffee Shops
There are more coffee shops here than pharmacies, and each one makes excellent coffee. My favorite ritual is stopping in for a latte before work.
