About the apartment

General
Our first apartment together, we rented a cozy two-room apartment. It's perfectly spacious for both of us, and the layout is modern and well-thought-out. But due to the very dense development, it sometimes feels like we're living in a glass cube, in full view of everyone.
Security
The developer's door was replaced with a more secure one, and the locks work perfectly. We feel extremely secure in the apartment; strangers are never on our floor.
Noise
The walls between the apartments are fine, but the noise from the street and courtyard is quite loud. Especially in the summer, if you open the window at night, the traffic from Rozybakiev will keep you up at night.
View
Here's the real downside: our windows look directly into the windows of the neighboring block, the distance is minimal. We have to constantly keep the roller blinds half-closed to avoid putting on a reality show for the neighbors.

About the building

General
From the outside, the building looks modern and neat, the entrances are spacious, and the elevators work properly. But the density of the buildings here is so high that stepping out into the courtyard feels like stepping into a deep well.
Cleanliness
They clean regularly, and the floors always smell fresh. There's no garbage chute, so there are no unpleasant odors. Occasionally, someone might leave a bag by the elevator, but the cleaning service quickly removes it.
Yard
The courtyard is tiny, with playgrounds and narrow passageways taking up almost all the available space. It's simply impossible to stroll there alone in the evening; you have to leave the courtyard and go straight to the street.
Parking
It's pure pain and tears every evening when we return home from work. There's a catastrophic shortage of street parking, cars are practically piled on top of each other, and we can't afford parking yet.

About the district

General
The infrastructure here is simply incredible; we've forgotten the last time we traveled far beyond the neighborhood's borders. The metro, a huge shopping center, coffee shops—everything is literally in the next building.
Cleanliness
Satpayev and Rozybakiyev Streets are well-maintained, with wide, paved sidewalks. However, black dust from heavy traffic quickly settles on the windows, requiring monthly cleaning.
Beauty
A typical urban concrete jungle, lots of concrete, glass, and asphalt, with a distinct lack of greenery. There's not much aesthetic appeal here; the area is remarkable solely for its incredible practicality and convenience.
Transport Accessibility
The Alatau and Sairan metro stations are within walking distance, and buses run directly to any point in the city. The transportation links are among the best in Almaty, allowing you to travel anywhere.
Traffic Jams
The Satpayev-Rozybakiyev intersection is a real jam every weekday morning and evening. If we haven't left home before 8 a.m., we'll be stuck in traffic for a very long time.
Noise
This entire intersection is buzzing 24/7: car horns, ambulance sirens, and the roar of motorcycles. There's virtually no peace here, so this location is definitely not for those seeking peace and quiet.
Parks
There are no proper parks right near our house, only a promenade along Satpayev. To stroll among the large trees, you need to go to the boulevard or to Lake Sayran.
