About the apartment

General
We moved here a year ago when I was pregnant with my second child. The apartment is spacious and bright, and the panoramic windows were love at first sight, although cleaning them is quite an adventure. The open-plan layout allows for excellent air circulation; we rarely even turn on the air conditioners in the summer.
Security
Entry is via FaceID and cards, so no one can just walk in. Security is on duty in the lobby. The video intercom works via an app, so I can always see who's calling, even when I'm out with the kids.
Neighbors
The neighbors are mostly young families like us, and our moms' chat has its own unique atmosphere. Everyone is polite, says hello, no one drills holes in the walls during quiet time, and respects each other's privacy.
Noise
The bedroom windows overlook Manas, and it's quite noisy there even at night, with motorcyclists speeding wildly. But from the courtyard side, it's perfectly quiet; all you can hear is children's laughter; you can sleep there with the window open.
Renovation
The apartment was delivered pre-finished, the walls were level, the screed was good, and we quickly renovated it to our liking. The only thing we had to do was move the wet spots in the kitchen; the developer's solution was somewhat illogical.
Furniture
We ordered built-in furniture so it wouldn't eat up space, and the nursery turned out absolutely fabulous. The walk-in closet is spacious; finally, everything has its place, eliminating visual clutter.
Appliances
All the appliances are built-in, and the Bosch dishwasher saves my hands and time; I couldn't do it without it. A tumble dryer is a must-have when I have two kids; clothes dry in an hour and don't have to hang them around the apartment.
View
The view of the mountains and Kok-Tobe is stunning, and the city glows in the evening, making it very romantic. During the day, we watch the bustle of Abay with a cup of coffee, feeling the rhythm of the big city but safe.

About the building

General
The complex looks very stylish and modern, with a unique façade that stands out against the gray panel buildings. Inside, the building has a business-class feel, with beautiful lobbies and stroller storage areas in every entrance.
Cleanliness
The entryways are spotlessly clean, the mirrors sparkle, and the floors are washed several times a day. The courtyard is also spotless, with gardeners tending the flowers and lawns, making it a pleasure to go for a walk.
Security
The courtyard is completely closed off to traffic—that's a major plus. I can let my older child go for a walk without worrying. Security patrols the area, and strangers are immediately identified and politely asked to leave.
Yard
The landscape design is simply stunning, with lots of greenery and great play areas for all ages. There are gazebos for parents, hammocks, and the lighting creates a cozy atmosphere in the evening.
Parking
Here's the big downside: parking is exorbitantly expensive; we're currently renting one space. There's practically no guest parking, so friends have nowhere to park; they're always circling the neighborhood.
Demographics
The crowd is decent, with lots of IT professionals, businessmen, and young families. There are no marginalized people, no one is drinking beer on the benches; everyone is very cultured and polite.

About the district

General
The city center is right next to everything: theaters, the circus, parks, and shops. It's also convenient to walk to the metro if your car needs repairs or you don't want to sit in traffic.
Cleanliness
Abay Avenue is spotlessly clean, the sidewalks are wide, cobblestones are everywhere, and strolling with a stroller is a pleasure. The courtyards of the neighboring buildings are also clean, and the utility workers do a good job.
Security
The area is safe, the lighting is bright, and there are plenty of people even late at night. The police station is nearby, and there's a constant presence of police, so hooligans haven't been seen here in a while.
Beauty
The surrounding area is historic, with beautiful Stalin-era buildings and plenty of greenery, offering plenty of space to rest the eye. Our residential complex itself also adds to the beauty of the neighborhood; it looks stunning illuminated at night.
Transport Accessibility
The Baikonur metro station is just steps away, and buses and trolleybuses run to any point in the city every 5 minutes. Transport accessibility is ideal; you couldn't find a better location.
Traffic Jams
Abay and Manasa are completely gridlocked during rush hour, and getting out of the parking lot in the morning is stressful. Evening traffic jams also start right from the circus, and it takes half an hour to get home the last 500 meters.
Noise
City noise is audible 24/7, especially ambulance sirens, as there are hospitals nearby. If your windows overlook Abay, don't expect silence; the city never sleeps.
