About the apartment

General
Honestly, it feels a bit like a hospital room or an office — very white and basic. It’s functional if you just need a place to crash and study. The kitchenette is super small (just a microwave and a hob), so forget about cooking a masterchef dinner. The biggest downside is the soundproofing — I can literally hear people talking in the hallway like they are in my room
Security
Keycard access, feels secure
Neighbors
Loud students, partying at 2 AM
Noise
Paper-thin walls, earplugs are a must
Furniture
Basic desk and bed, mattress is hard
Appliances
tiny fridge, microwave is okay

About the building

General
The rooftop pool is the MVP here! Seriously, chilling there with a beer makes up for the small room. The gym is a joke though, half the machines are broken. Common areas are nice for meeting people, but the laundry is expensive and always busy. It’s basically a fancy dorm.
Cleanliness
Daily cleaning service is amazing
Security
24/7 reception, cameras everywhere
Yard
Rooftop terrace is the main hangout spot

About the district

General
Location is 10/10. You are right next to Arc de Triomf and Parc de la Ciutadella (great for picnics). The beach is a 15-min walk/skate. Estació del Nord bus station is next door, so easy for airport transfers. Super safe and lively area, Mercadona supermarket is close
Security
Safe to walk home at night
Beauty
Modernista architecture everywhere
Transport Accessibility
Metro, buses, airport shuttle — perfection
Traffic Jams
Sardenya Street gets busy
