About the apartment

General
Look, if you want to feel like you own the city, this is the spot. The view from the 20th floor overlooking the Aqueduct and the bridge? It’s an absolute stunner. Probably the best view in Lisbon, hands down. BUT. There is a massive catch. We are literally perched on top of the Eixo Norte-Sul highway. If the windows are shut, it’s a vacuum—dead silent. But crack a window for some fresh air, and it sounds like you’re sleeping on a racetrack. The drone is constant. So, you’re basically living with the AC on 24/7.
Security
Fort Knox vibes. 24/7 reception, keycards for everything. Zero chance of unwanted guests.
Neighbors
Lots of 'new money', footballers, and tech bros. Everyone keeps to themselves; lots of staring at phones in the elevator. Not exactly a community feel.
Noise
Windows closed: 5. Windows open: 0. The highway noise is relentless white noise.
Renovation
Super sleek, minimalist. Marble, wood. None of that drafty old Portuguese charm here
Appliances
Smart home setup, controlled by tablet. AEG/Miele appliances. Proper luxury.
View
10/10. The sunsets are a daily show.

About the building

General
Honestly, you could never leave the building and be fine. The rooftop pool (infinity pool, obviously) is the ultimate flex. The gym is proper, there’s a spa area, even a padel court. It feels like Dubai or London; for Lisbon standards, this place is a spaceship.
Cleanliness
Spotless. Always smells expensive.
Security
Concierge is always there.
Yard
There is a private garden, but it’s small and surrounded by roads. Not really a place to hang out, bit noisy.
Parking
Garage is a dream. Wide spots, easy ramps (unlike the nightmare spirals in older buildings).
Building Quality
Top notch. Nothing creaks, elevators are super fast (ears pop).

About the district

General
Here is the dealbreaker. You step out of this paradise, and you are under a bridge, surrounded by highway ramps, offices, and cars. This is not the real Lisbon. No cute cobblestone streets, no 'pastel de nata' shops around the corner, no soul. It’s a business district. To get a decent coffee, you have to trek 15 mins into Campolide or drive to El Corte Inglés. Walking anywhere from here feels weird.
Cleanliness
Clean right around the tower, but further out it’s just gritty city streets.
Security
Safe enough, but dead at night once the offices close.
Beauty
Concrete, overpasses, trains. Urban hellscape.
Transport Accessibility
Metro (Jardim Zoológico) is close, train station too. Driving access is perfect (straight onto the bridge or to the airport).
Demographics
White-collar workers by day, ghost town by night.
Parks
Monsanto Forest (huge park) is nearby, but you have to cross a highway to get there.
Restaurants
Only business lunch spots. For dinner, you Uber to the center.
Supermarkets
El Corte Inglés (best in town) is a 5-min drive. Walking to LIDL takes about 15 mins.
Hospitals
Private clinics nearby.
