I bought an apartment here three years ago and still think it was a great investment. The ceilings are high and the layout is very efficient, so every square meter is used effectively. We live as a family and there's plenty of space for everyone, although the developer could have made the rooms a little wider.
Security
We didn't have to replace the doors from the developer because the locks are reliable and the door panels are thick. You feel safe in the entryway and don't worry about your children when they're home alone.
Neighbors
The residents here are mostly young families and office workers from nearby ministries and companies. The crowd is very respectable, and the entrance hall is always quiet.
Noise
The walls between the apartments are fine, but the wind outside is very audible. When our famous Moscow snowstorms begin, a distinctive hum fills the rooms.
Renovation
The walls were relatively straight when we moved in, but we had to fill the corners a bit with plaster. Otherwise, the rough finish was decent, and we didn't break the bank on materials.
View
The windows overlook the Nur Alem sphere, which is simply stunning, especially in the evenings. The view of the Expo at night replaces any television and creates a special atmosphere.
About the building
General
The complex itself looks very modern, and the façade, made of high-quality panels, withstands our weather well. Inside, everything is tastefully done, and the entrance halls are more reminiscent of the lobbies of a respectable business center.
Yard
The venues are cool and modern, but because it's an open-air Expo site, there's always a strong draft in the courtyard. In the summer, it helps beat the heat, but in the spring and fall, it's not very comfortable.
Parking
Parking on the street is extremely difficult because spaces are snapped up before dinner. We immediately rented a space in the underground parking garage to avoid the hassle of parking every evening.
Building Quality
The brick retains heat well, but the windows sometimes need additional adjustments for the winter. Otherwise, the house is sturdy, and no shrinkage or cracks have appeared in three years.
About the district
General
This is the most modern part of the city, where you can truly feel the scale and spaciousness of the capital. Everything here is so lived-in that you could spend weeks without leaving your neighborhood.
Cleanliness
The area around Expo is always immaculately clean, and snow is removed promptly in winter. There's no trash on the streets at all, as the area is strictly maintained.
Beauty
The architecture around is simply pleasing to the eye, and everything looks very European. Walking along the wide avenues is a pleasure, especially when the city is illuminated.
Transport Accessibility
There are tons of buses, and you can get to any point in the city without transfers. The stops are modern and just a couple of minutes from the front door.
Parking
This is the main problem because Mangilik El is simply dead in the morning and evening. Leaving the area for the center takes a long time and requires nerves of steel.
