About the apartment

General
The interior design is very "industrial loft"—lots of black metal and dark tones. It looks super cool and expensive, but the room size (26 sqm) feels tight. The "interlock" layout is smart, separating the bedroom clearly, but there is almost no storage space for clothes.
Noise
The walls are disappointingly thin. I can hear my neighbor’s TV and even their alarm clock in the morning. Also, if your room faces the expressway, the traffic drone is constant, 24/7.
Internet
Fiber optic internet was pre-installed and it flies. Upload speeds are great for sending large files. Essential for working from home.

About the building

General
The common areas are insane. The "Scarlet Foyer" and the red swimming pool are literally made for Instagram photos. The coworking space is huge and diverse, I work there almost every day instead of going to a cafe.
Cleanliness
The lobby always smells like expensive perfume (signature scent). The pool is cleaned often, but because so many people use it, it can get crowded on weekends
Demographics
It is extremely crowded. There are hundreds of units, so expect a queue for the elevator during rush hour (8 AM and 6 PM). Lots of Chinese expats and uni students.

About the district

General
Rama 9 is the "New CBD". You have Central Rama 9 mall and Fortune Town (IT mall) just a walk away. It feels very futuristic and urban, lots of skyscrapers.
Transport Accessibility
It is about 350m walk to MRT Phra Ram 9. It’s walkable, but the sidewalk is narrow and you have to cross a busy road. Once on the MRT, you can get anywhere easily.
Traffic Jams
Total nightmare. The Asoke-Din Daeng intersection is world-famous for gridlock. Taking a taxi here is a mistake; you will sit still for 30 minutes just to move 500 meters.
Demographics
Because the building is sandwiched between major highways, the PM2.5 dust levels are noticeably higher here. I don't recommend opening windows often; use an air purifier.
Restaurants
Grab and FoodPanda drivers know this place well. There is a 7-Eleven right inside the building complex, which is a lifesaver when it rains or you are too lazy to go out.
