About the apartment

General
Our apartment is spacious, the ceilings are high, and it's easy to breathe. We bought it a long time ago, when the complex was just being completed; back then, it was the best place in the city. The renovations are certainly in need of updating, but the walls are smooth and the soundproofing is excellent; you can't hear your neighbors at all.
Security
The door is armored, dating back to the days when they built it well. There's an alarm, but we rarely use it. The entrance is quiet, and the concierge knows everyone by sight.
Neighbors
The neighbors are intelligent people, professors, doctors, the city's old elite. Everyone says hello, holds the elevator, and there are no drunken brawls or loud parties.
Noise
If your windows face Seifullin Street, it's a disaster: traffic noise and dust billow around the clock. Our bedrooms face the courtyard, where it's quieter, but during the day you can hear the office noise from Nurly Tau.
Renovation
The parquet flooring has been there for 15 years now, and there's not a single scratch. The quality of the materials was excellent. The plumbing has been replaced a couple of times, and the pipes are old, but they're holding up so far, and there have been no accidents.
Appliances
The equipment works properly, even though the models are older, but they are reliable. The air conditioners had to be thoroughly cleaned because they emit a lot of soot and exhaust fumes from the street.
View
The mountain views from the upper floors are stunning, especially at sunrise. You can see the ski jumps and Kok-Tobe, and in the evening the city glows, very beautiful and romantic.

About the building

General
The Keremet complex is a mark of quality; it was built by the Turks, the monolithic structure is strong and earthquake-resistant. The facades are washed, the grounds are maintained, and the building looks solid and well-maintained, despite its age.
Cleanliness
The marble in the entryways gleams, the carpets are clean, and there's no garbage chute smell. Street sweepers sweep from early morning, and in winter, the walkways are always sanded to prevent slipperiness.
Security
Security at the entrance is strict, the barrier is working, but anyone can enter on foot. The gates are often open for couriers, and office workers take shortcuts through our courtyard.
Yard
The courtyard is green, roses are blooming, the fountain is open in the summer, and it's very pleasant to sit on a bench. But during the day, it's a busy courtyard, full of strangers heading to the business centers.

About the district

General
The Golden Square (almost) is the very center of business life, with everything close by—work and leisure. But the environment suffers, with high air pollution due to traffic jams on the avenues.
Cleanliness
The area around Nurly Tau and our residential complex is impeccably clean; the lawns are mowed and flowers are planted. It's a pleasant walk to Furmanov Street; the sidewalks are smooth and there are trash cans everywhere.
Security
The area is safe, the police are constantly patrolling, and there are Sergek cameras everywhere. It's safe to walk around in the evening; the lighting is bright and there are plenty of people around.
Beauty
The architecture is modern; the glass and concrete of Nurly Tau look stunning against the mountain backdrop. There's plenty of greenery, with mature trees providing plenty of shelter from the heat.
Parks
The First President's Foundation Park (above Al-Farabi) is nearby; we go for a walk there. Journalists' Square is also nearby, offering a nice place to get some fresh air.
