About the apartment

General
The room is honestly tiny even for one person and it feels like a shoebox at 28 square meters. The layout is old school with sliding glass doors separating the bedroom which rattle every time the AC turns on. It is cheap though so I cannot complain too much but having guests over is basically impossible without sitting on the bed. The furniture is solid wood and heavy which is ugly but at least it does not break like the cheap stuff in new condos
Security
The guards are super strict and they salute you every time you walk in like you are a general so nobody sneaks in here
Neighbors
Walls are thin concrete so I can hear my neighbor coughing or watching TV if the volume is up
Noise
It is relatively quiet inside the complex but you can hear planes flying over sometimes as we are not far from the old flight paths
Furniture
The mattress was so old and springy it destroyed my back so I had to buy a topper immediately
Internet
I installed my own AIS fiber and it is blazing fast so gaming and streaming is smooth
View
My window faces another building so I just keep the curtains closed all day for privacy

About the building

General
Lumpini management runs this place like a military camp with rules for literally everything including where you can smoke or park. The best part is the facilities because the pool is huge and clean although they force you to wear a swimming cap which looks ridiculous. Having a 7-Eleven and laundry shops inside the complex is a total lifesaver when you are lazy or it is raining.
Building Quality
It is an older building so it feels solid and sturdy not like the new fragile condos
Cleanliness
The maids are cleaning constantly from early morning so the lobby and corridors are always shiny
Security
You need a keycard to get into the lobby and another one for the elevator so it is very secure
Yard
There is a nice park area with basketball courts and jogging tracks where people actually hang out in the evenings
Parking
You have to pay monthly for parking and the spots are super tight so scratched bumpers are common

About the district

General
This area is definitely not for tourists as it is deep local Bangkok with zero fancy malls or sky bars nearby. You absolutely need a motorbike because walking to the MRT takes 20 minutes and you will melt in the heat. The street food opposite the building is legendary and costs almost nothing so I eat there every single night.
Cleanliness
The streets outside are messy with food carts and trash bags waiting for collection
Security
It is a busy residential area so there are always people around and I never felt unsafe walking at night
Beauty
Nothing beautiful here just concrete buildings and power lines but it has a certain chaotic charm
Transport Accessibility
The MRT Huai Khwang is far so you rely on motorbike taxis or the shuttle van which has a weird schedule
Stray Animals
There are some soi dogs around the food stalls but they are fat and lazy from being fed by locals
