About the apartment

General
The private kitchenette is the absolute game changer here. I love being able to cook my own meals without having to socialize or wait for a free stove in a shared kitchen. The room is compact, but it feels like a complete micro-apartment.
Noise
Internal soundproofing between rooms is good; I rarely hear my neighbors. However, the area is under development, so you can sometimes hear construction noise from the street early in the morning.

About the building

General
The facilities are great. The swimming pool is heated, which means you can actually use it in winter, unlike in other residences. The gym is small but functional for a basic workout.
Security
There is a 24/7 reception and you need a keycard to access any floor. I feel completely safe leaving my bike in the designated storage area.
Building Quality
The building is relatively new. The elevators are fast and modern. You don't get that "old building smell" that is common in Barcelona; everything feels fresh.
Utilities Stability
Never had a single issue with hot water or power outages. Everything works as it should, which justifies the higher price point.

About the district

General
The Marina/Poblenou area is up-and-coming. It’s a mix of tech offices and new apartment blocks. The best part is being able to walk to Bogatell beach in 15 minutes for a run or a swim.
Cleanliness
Since the streets are wider here than in the old center, they feel cleaner and less claustrophobic. There is less trash on the sidewalks, though there is some dust from nearby construction sites.
Transport Accessibility
Location is strategic. The Marina metro station (Red Line) is super close, and the Tram is right there too. You can get to the city center quickly, but you are not stuck in the middle of the tourist chaos.
