About the apartment

Security
The door is good, but the entrance is a walk-through courtyard because of the tourists.
Neighbors
There are a lot of daily rentals. It's quiet today, but tomorrow a group of people will move in and party until the early hours. There are some permanent residents, but they get lost in the crowd.
Noise
The audibility is hellish. From the street and from the neighbors. Earplugs are my best friends.
View
What a lottery! I have a view of the city—it's beautiful. My friend in the next block has "windows to windows"; she doesn't open the curtains at all, it's like she lives in a bunker.

About the building

Cleanliness
Everything here is washed 24/7! The paths, the lobby, the elevators—everything sparkles. The gardeners trim every bush. The grounds are very well-kept.
Yard
This is the pride of the complex. A huge outdoor pool (a lifesaver in the summer, though guests sometimes have to pay, but residents often get a pass). The playground is fantastic, with palm trees and benches. You can even walk around in your slippers.

About the district

Cleanliness
The new boulevard is spotless. There are wide sidewalks, bike paths, and no trash. It's the cleanest part of the city.
Transport Accessibility
It's a 20-30-minute bus ride to the center (Old Batumi). Buses run (number 10), but they're often full. Taxis to the center are more expensive than from other areas.
Stray Animals
There are dogs in the park, all well-fed, lazy, and kind. We feed them. I haven't seen any aggressive packs here.
Noise
The main noise is the planes. The airport is literally across the park fence. At first you shudder, then you get used to it.
Coffee Shops
There's a Starbucks and Dunkin' in the nearby Metro City, plus local coffee shops in the building. Finding coffee isn't a problem.
