About the apartment

General
We moved here because everyone said it is the best complex in the city and honestly the apartment is very slick. The floor cooling system is weird at first because the floor is always cold so you need slippers but it keeps the air fresh without that dry AC feeling. The smart home panel controls everything from blinds to lights which is cool until it bugs out and you cannot turn off the bedroom light at midnight. The layout is open concept and very spacious so our dog has plenty of room to zoom around without knocking things over.
Security
Video intercom and security guards patrolling the complex make us feel super safe leaving the apartment empty when we travel
Neighbors
Lots of young professionals and families with kids so it is generally quiet but sometimes you hear heels clicking on the floor above
Noise
The insulation between apartments is great but if your windows face the inner pedestrian street you hear kids screaming and playing until late evening
Renovation
Top quality materials with wooden floors and expensive ceramics in the bathroom so nothing feels cheap or plasticky
Furniture
We rented a fully furnished unit and the furniture is actually designer stuff not just basic IKEA so it looks like a magazine cover
Appliances
Everything is Bosch and built-in including a dishwasher and a wine cooler which we surprisingly use a lot
View
We are on a lower floor so we just look at the office building across the street which is boring but at least it is not a brick wall

About the building

General
Living here spoils you because you have the West 65 Mall literally downstairs so you can go to the cinema or buy groceries in your pajamas. The underground garage is huge but navigating it is like a maze and the spots are a bit tight for an SUV. The whole complex feels very private and exclusive almost like a gated community which is rare for Belgrade.
Cleanliness
The maintenance team is obsessed with cleaning and I see them washing the pavement outside every single morning
Security
Key card access is required for every door and elevator so delivery drivers usually have to call you to come down
Yard
The inner courtyard is pedestrian only and beautifully landscaped with fountains and benches so it is perfect for walking the dog quickly
Parking
We pay extra for a garage spot and it is convenient but visitor parking is a disaster as there are never free spots around
Building Quality
The build quality feels solid and heavy with thick walls and heavy doors that shut with a satisfying thud

About the district

General
New Belgrade is wide and flat which makes it amazing for long walks or cycling unlike the hilly city center. You are close to the river promenade where we go jogging and there are tons of modern office buildings around so it feels very urban. The air quality can be bad in winter due to smog but that is a problem everywhere in the city not just here.
Security
It is a business district so it is well lit and busy during the day and very quiet and safe at night
Beauty
It is all concrete and glass which I like for its modern vibe but some people might find it a bit cold and soulless
Transport Accessibility
Lots of buses go to the center but during rush hour the Branko Bridge gets jammed so sometimes it takes forever
Parking
Finding a free spot on the street is a daily war so if you do not have a garage you will suffer
