About the apartment

General
We moved here from the city center two years ago. We were looking for peace, clean air, and a low-rise apartment. The apartment is spacious, and the air here is completely different. But be prepared for the cost of maintaining such a place in the mountains.
Security
We installed a high-quality armored door, and the alarm is connected to the residential complex's security control panel. No one will be able to enter the apartment, and we are completely satisfied with the security level.
Noise
It's absolutely quiet here. The city noise doesn't reach here; at night, all you can hear are crickets and the wind rustling through the trees. After years of living in the "Golden Square," this seems like pure luxury.
Internet
Internet access has always been a bit of a problem in the foothills. Fiber optics are installed, but during heavy snowfalls or rain, the connection can sometimes drop.
View
The panoramic views of the mountains and pine trees from the windows are simply stunning. It's a pleasure to sip tea on the terrace in the morning and gaze at the snow-capped peaks.

About the building

General
The complex is low-rise, and its architecture blends seamlessly into the mountainous landscape. Living here is comfortable, but the fees for grounds maintenance, gardening, and security are quite high.
Cleanliness
The grounds and entrances are kept spotlessly clean. The marble is washed, the carpets are cleaned, and the trash is removed discreetly. In winter, snow is cleared early in the morning.
Security
Entry is strictly by pass, with 24-hour security at the checkpoint and patrols throughout the grounds. It feels like you're living in a nice, gated sanatorium.
Yard
The yard is very well-kept, the landscaping thought out to the last detail. There are numerous mature spruce and pine trees, and neat paths for leisurely evening strolls.
Parking
The underground parking is excellent, warm, and dry. However, if we have guests, parking on the narrow road near the complex can be problematic; guest spaces are very limited.

About the district

General
The area's ecology and tranquility are its main advantages. However, it's important to understand that this means living far from any infrastructure. Without a personal car or driver, there's nothing to do here.
Cleanliness
The air is crystal clear; we're above the city smog. There's practically no road dust; you could go weeks without wiping your windowsills.
Security
The Medeu district, the upper part of Dostyk Avenue. The surrounding area is full of expensive residences and luxury complexes. There are no criminal elements here.
Beauty
The surrounding nature is incredible. The road to Medeu, the mountains, the abundance of greenery—this is one of the most picturesque areas of Almaty.
Transport Accessibility
There are buses running along Dostyk, but the stop is far away, and using them is beneath our residents' status. Walking into town is impossible. All logistics rely solely on cars.
Traffic Jams
There are usually no traffic jams above our residential complex, but to get down to the city in the morning, you have to wait through a significant traffic jam on Dostyk Avenue starting from Ospanova Street.
Parks
The area itself is a huge park. The Medeu skating rink is a five-minute drive away, from where you can explore the mountain trails.
Coffee Shops
There's nowhere to go for coffee on foot. We drink coffee at home or stop at coffee shops on the way into town.
Supermarkets
There are small, premium grocery stores on the way home. For serious grocery shopping, we head to the large supermarkets downtown once a week.
